What to bring to your chalet

Now for the fun part, packing for your Wild Life adventure.

Our chalet is equipped with the following items:

​

  • 3 queen beds with fresh linen and plush towels

  • Reverse cycle air-conditioning 

  • Fridge and freezer, induction stove, oven steamer, microwave, cooking utensils, cookware, cutlery, dinnerware, wine/water glasses, coffee machine and tea supplies

  • 2 fully equipped bathrooms with amenities (body wash, shampoo and conditioner)

  • Fully equipped laundry including iron and ironing board

  • Outdoor setting

  • Smart TV with free Netflix

  • Free Wifi

  • Gas heater 

  • Office workspace for 2 

  • Library of books

  • Complimentary beverages on arrival

Food & drinks

 

You should plan your meals ahead and if needed organise all your preferred food and drinks to make your adventure enjoyable.

​

If you run out of essentials there is a Coles in the Main Street of Daylesford , Daylesford Sunday Market or Gourmet store Blakes within walking distance of our Chalet.

​

Daylesford and surrounds is the perfect place to stimulate the senses and reconnect with the land in a region that takes the concept of paddock to plate dining to another level. Sample seasonal dishes, fill your baskets at local farm gates and markets, enjoy a myriad of wine and cider offerings at cellar doors and savour amazing hatted restaurants.

Some of our favourite foodie experiences are Sault, Kadota, Cliffy's, Beppe, Enki Apothecary & Botanical Bar, Bistro Terroir and Farmers Arms Hotel.

The Chalet has a reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you super comfortable whatever the season.

With all the amazing foodie experiences make sure to dress to impress.

With so much to discover including farmers markets, Lake Daylesford, Botanic gardens and other local surprises within the region remember to pack your favourite walking shoes.

​

Also has this area is renowned as the spa capital of Australia don't forget to pack your bathers all year round to enjoy this amazing wellness experience.

Other absolute musts are your robe, most cosy pj's and ugg boots or slippers.

Your Wild Life Chalet stay is the perfect time to indulge in an old favourite book or start that new one that's been sitting next to your bed for a while.

With options like reading while relaxing in front of the gas fire , lying in your cosy bed, or sitting at the back  outdoors, you are spoiled for choice with the perfect reading environment.

If you forget to bring a book or are feeling literarily adventurous, we have a hand-curated selection of amazing books to get lost in.
